After making the decision to stop playing Basketball, which included turning down a US College Scholarship, Chloe has thrived in her pursuit of playing AFLW in 2018.
Starting the season playing for the Calder Cannons in the inaugural Womens TAC Cup Season, Chloe's form was exceptional which resulted in her being announced as the joint winner of the Best & Fairest Award and winning the leading goal kicker award. Since the finish of the TAC Cup season, Chloe continued to excel for Diamond Creek in the VFLW being one of the leading goal kickers in the competition. This was a terrific effort by the 19 year old and no doubt a huge factor when Collingwood selected Chloe with their first pick in the AFLW Draft.
Drafted as a forward, Chloe was shifted back in her first season of AFLW to tremendous success. Nominated for the NAB Rising Star in her first game against Carlton, Chloe continued to shut down the oppositions attack and continually rebound off half back with her precise ball use. After a magnificent season Chloe was awarded with the AFLW and AFLPA Best First Year Player, was named in the All Australian Team, and also won Collingwood's Best & Fairest Award in what was a tremendous debut season.
Unfortunately Chloe couldn’t get on the park in 2019 due to a serious foot and ankle injury she suffered in the last part of the VFLW Season. Whilst it was disappointing for Chloe, she used that time to further improve herself. Upon returning in 2020, Chloe was used in a variety of positions before being used as a forward in 2021 where she was able to show just how dynamic she can be, which resulted in All Australian selection. Season 6 and 7 in 2022 were both good seasons for Chloe, continuing to be a key player for Collingwood
Chloe Molloy then moved to the Sydney Swans on the first day of the 2023 AFLW Priority Sign and Trade period. Chole has made a significant impact since her arrival at the club and was voted in by her peers to be the co-captain for the 2023 season and beyond. Chole had a great season, making the All Australian team and finishing equal second in the AFLW’s best and fairest.
Away from Footy, Chloe has completed a Bachelor of Sports Media and is currently working at Fox Sports. Chloe also works as an Ambassador for Special K, Sherrin, NIKE, and Shock Doctor.
