Anthony is a tale of determination, hard work, and never giving up on your goals. Missing the Draft after completing his final season with the Oakleigh Chargers, Anthony joined Richmond’s VFL Team where he showed good promise. However after limited opportunities he decided to focus on Amateur Football for the year playing for his old School team, Trinity.

Proving that he was above that level, Anthony signed with Footscray in the VFL where he put in a number of solid seasons, narrowly being overlooked in the Draft before winning the 2019 Club Best & Fairest. Unfortunately due to COVID, Anthony couldn’t play in 2020 but that didn’t stop him from enjoying a terrific pre-season with the Western Bulldogs where he was signed in March 2021 as an SSP selection and featured in 18 games for the club before being signed to a 2 year contract extension.

On the back of a strong season, Anthony took this form into the 2022 Season where he enjoyed another great year before a concussion cut his season short after Round 17. Anthony continued his consistency in 2023, playing 22 games and being a important component of the Western Bulldogs. As a result, Anthony has extended his time at the Kennel, signing on for a further two seasons at the Western Bulldogs.
